Hi,, I have been searching for a IG for around 8 months now....Please help anyone....

Just found and it's lovely to see all the photos as well as the information about buying I would love an Italian greyhound or blue whipit There are a lot of so called good site's advertising puppies All seem wrong this site is first that looks respectable
but didn't see any new posts last 2019 ?

We are about to add a second Italian greyhound to our family. Rosie( our first) is just an absolute treasure. Indie who will be welcomed into our loving home tomorrow. The breed for us is just so perfect. They have so much love to give. My heart just bursts
with happiness. 😍😍

I am looking for a puppy to be adopted. Best border collie. :)

At what age should my puppy be house trained?

I have a 20 week old brother and sister. She goes through the night but he doesn’t. I am feeding them at 6 - 7am, 12 noon - 1pm and last meal by 4.30. I am wondering whether I should re-schedule and make the last meal later. Any ideas please?

I enjoy this website and think it's important for potential Iggy owners to educate themselves about the breed. I have been trying to contact IG breeders for some months now with no success. It would be great if the IGSUK could put potential owners in touch
with breeders. I have emailed you but never had any reply. I think this is why people end up turning to websites like Gumtree and Pets in the UK!

It's really very sad but as I said, with the best care in the world, anaesthesia is always a risk sadly.

Re Venus thank you for your condolence we did take her to the specialist. We trusted them as they sorted our pixie out. They fixed Vs leg perfect. But she broke it on Sunday and was on pain relief till Thursday can't help but feel they should have been
a bit more careful with her we miss her do much.

Very sorry for you losing your IG Venus. Sadly anaesthesia carries risks and sometimes operating on leg fractures can be extremely difficult. We do recommend that owners always use a specialist orthopaedic vet for this type of operation. Our condolences

We recently lost our youngest Iggy Venus she was only 4 due to what we feel was incompetence by vets while having a fracture repaired she had to have 2 lots of anaesthesia in 3days the last lot lasting 2hrs she crashed and although they got her back she
had been down for 10 minutes and never recovered oh how we miss her

I cannot begin to explain the heartbreak of losing our beloved Hershey. He was the most faithful, loyal and obedient boy and our family is deeply traumatised with having to have him euthanised. He lived a very happy and healthy life until he was almost

Okay, so now I'm tempted to admit that this stunningly beautiful breed has simply captured my heart. I'm a working lady with a non-doggy but adored semi-retired husband, so I am quite prepared to wait until I retire myself and have time to dedicate to
the nurturing and training of an IG. We have two adored house cats whose every wish is our command, and their culinary, medical and physical/emotional wellbeing needs are met by us with levels of pleasure bordering on the plain daft! I simply love the idea
of a snuggly IG, and the thought of having my redundant lap occupied by a contact loving dog would be so happy-making. We love to walk, we're members of both the National Trust and English Heritage and have wonderful, safe walks to explore. I hanker after
the possibility of showing my dog, not least because I have a long history of breeding/showing British Dairy Goats and I can't help but take an interest in the confirmation, breed standards and genetic anomalies that for me go hand in hand with responsible
ownership. As a young woman I trained with the British Horse Society and remember an old stud groom telling me that : 'The eye of the master is the condition of the horse' and this maxim has guided me throughout my life as far as stock/pet feeding and care
is concerned. To hear the words 'great coat' or 'fantastic condition' brings such a beaming smile to my face!



I'm happily waiting for the right time to start my quest to find my IG puppy!
